Don't close your eyes all night
When I am holding you so very tight
My darling please don't close your eyes
When I whisper how much I need you tonight...

You loved her a long time ago
I know she is still in your heart
But darling you now have to let her go
Don't let old memories tear our love apart...

When you hold me in your arms
Darling don't ever close your eyes
Don't pretend that you are holding her
Please let it be me in your arms tonight...
