Taking Chances
Is it better to take
a chance and fail
Than to go thru life
with no hope of a full sail
The path we journey
is an unknown creation
but would we enjoy the walk
with a set destination
To walk on the safe side
does one really live
Could we taste love
without knowing how to give
Would we know what we have
without loss
Is anything worth while
without cost
How do we know if deep or shallow
when the water we fear to test
Can we go thru life not giving
and still expect the best
Without the horrid pain of heartbreak
can we know the true sweetness of love
Without knowing what alone really is
will we appreciate what is sent from above
Life is all about
