a star from bethlehem
a long time ago in bethlehem so the people say
they saw a guiding star a saviour was there this day
the three wise men they came from very far away
and looked in to a stable where the infant lay
they brought gifts of plenty as the night stood still
to display there gratitude and by giving there goodwill
this was to be there master and was to be there king
and for the earth peace it was to bring.
we celebrate this birth every christmas day
the story of the child from so very far away.
