the turkey
theres was a little turkey he lived on a farm
he thought he would be safe there well away from harm
the turkey he was happy around the farm hed stray
the farmer he would feed every single day
turkey he was growing becoming nice and round
little did he know for a plate he would be bound
it was near christmas not to far away.
the farmer he loved turkey. for dinner christmas day.
the turkey he got wise when he saw the snow
then he realised. it was time for him to go
he waited till the dark then gently slipped away
and was never seen again to this very day
