Anticipation looms,
Excitement sweeps,
It's almost here.
Escape from reality
On the Caribbean Sea.
Winter continues to howl;
Let it blow,
Let it snow,
Let it exhaust itself.
Come quickly Spring!
Lying in the tropical sun,
The heat feels good,
Shaking off winter's coat.
Another coconut and rum,
Feeling mildly numb.
Sailing to another island paradise;
The Princess is my queen.
Forgetting all my worries;
Time to relax, to find peace,
Escape from reality.
