(dedicated To My Children and Grandchildren,
in the natural and heart adopted)
There will always be battles some we may choose
No matter the reason some we'll win, some we'll lose
It's up to us ultimately what race we chose to run
Whether it's easy or hard we must finish once begun
For winners never quit and quitters never win
Shake off the negative and just begin again
Never ever quit for failure by quitting is hard to forget
Press forward into the future that's even brighter yet
Laugh if you're happy, you can cry if you're blue
Just control your emotions that they don't control you
Being on the mountain top can be so mighty fine
But it's in the valley that we grow each and every time
Press forward to tomorrow leave yesterday behind
For it is in the future new awareness we will find
Hang on to good memories for their treasures to behold
Leaving behind the bad ones that caused heartaches to unfold
For it is what we think on that we will speak out too
Your thoughts have a way of molding the life of you
Let your thoughts be filled with good postive things
For negative thoughts empower sorrow for stress to move in
If you can read between these lines...
You'll see the battle is not mine...
For God Himself chose My race to run
And I've read the back of the book...
And...Victory Has Won!!
To God Be The Glory
Forever and Ever ...Amen

Heb.12:1-6
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about
with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside
every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us,
and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand
of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction
of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied
and faint in your minds.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh
unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the
chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth,
and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
1 Tim 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,
whereunto thou art also called,
and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Phil.4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these things.
2 Tim.2:3-5
3 Thou therefore endure hardness,
as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with
the affairs of this life; that he may please him
who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries,
yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
2 Tim.3:16-17,
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect,
thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Tim.4:1-5
1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ,
who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season;
reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,
and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions,
do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
I pray you'll know my prayers for all of you linger on.

Acts 20:24-33
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear
unto myself,so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry,
which I have received of the Lord Jesus,
to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching
the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day,
that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock,
over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers,
to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter
in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things,
to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years
I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace,
which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among
all them which are sanctified.
33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
