Seems my site was forgotten
Out in Hawaii buying cotton
Hawaiian shirts that is
Some of hers a few of his
Waves thundering in ten foot high
Nah, the Tsunami passed me by
Six o'clock sirens blaring
Heading for higher ground
Getting away from ear shattering sound
God bless the people earthquake prone
People worried about us at home
Opened e-mail and some good news
Books sent to Putnam while in Hawaii drinking booze
My poems no good none the editors choose
Who cares really Poem In memorial to Staci
Is being made into a Hawaiian song
A lovely lady in heaven she does belong
To Soar to Seek embrace the sky
Hers' wings of an angel alas no wings have I
Her walk so gentle yet aloft
As a bird on it's maiden flight
In a voice so soft no more than
A mere whisper in the night
No more beautiful woman I must say
Than she as beautiful coming towards
As the day dear Jesus took her away
Those who don't know lovely Staci was
killed August 2004 when some insane
driver ran head on into the motor home
she was driving ninety miles an hour
This girl who weekly took food to the
homeless and when someone was missing
went and found them and care for needy
At her funeral were hundreds of homeless
who dearly missed this wonderful girl
who was driving to her husbands triathlon
race and her two children saw it all in
the car that was following. I care less
of honors she must never be forgotten
