THE SCENE:
It's just past 5 a.m. There's a hazy fog this early dawn, the moon is a crescent and somewhat gold as it's making an earnest attempt to catch the potentiality of the sun (that has not yet risen). So with this scene in mind, and written at a deeper level, I've come up with a metaphysical poem.....
"Light Once Got" (Metaphysical poem)
March 8th, 2010
Obvious moon only half bright
Obscurity's fog drapes around
Asking for glory ahead of my sun
Assured it'll always be found
Inclined to wherever dreams reside
Against a backdrop marches spring
Eastern sky given a moment's blaze
Gifts in saving grace shall bring
Freedom's touch four walls enclose
Though windows of mind shall do
Reach for hearts with destiny's hunger
Days begin our time ‘til through
Obscurity's fog lingers on still
The moon will relinquish its spot
Waving goodbye in twilight's zone
With a thankful light once got
