Magic
Three broken sticks,
Lay side by side…
Each twisted, frayed and bended.
The eye of light encircles them
From darkness thick,
A silken cloth…
Is wondrously descended.
Soft healing light encircles them
Amazing quick,
Compelling force…
Each mangled branch is mended.
Stark blinding light encircles them
A clever trick?
Just slight of hand…
Or something we pretended?
Clear streaming light encircles them
Truth authentic,
Lives deep within…
From chaos, it ascended.
One beam of light encircles them
Honest magic,
Is from the soul…
How can it be suspended?
Bright constant light encircles them
