Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Curiouser and curiouser

We hid in the bushes like spies,
Wings poised for flight
As several ladies danced under
The rays of sunlight.

As they shook their bodies in glee,
The sirens stopped suddenly
As they heard the rustling of leaves
Coming from somewhere behind them.

They walked to our location,
Squinting as though they could
See us behind the thick brush.
We backed away slowly.

They stopped short as a scream was heard.
The attack came from all sides,
Demons in flight laying claim
To all they had their eyes on.

The sirens, once so joyful and smiling,
Ran screaming from the field.
Their faces once so pleasant suddenly
Darkened and looks of horror replaced their glee.

Our bodies froze as the demons cackled
And laughed at the running maidens.
They came closer to us, swords and knives
In their black clawed hands.

Our wings weren't fast enough to save us
From certain death.
