Beats it does to serve one purpose
Made by hands that loves me worthless
It cries like His to keep it real
Inside where love and pain we feel
It skips sometimes when things go wrong
Picks up where we left off renewed and strong
To serve my GOD who not forsakes
This wretched soul thank GOD for goodness sake
It hurts for those who call out to
Darkness theirs as His does too
To see children He calls His own
Become heartless, pondered on Throne
Imagine this if you will please
A better place where hands and knees
Would hold whats left of one another
Bend as one, sisters and brothers
Time is short and though some think
We live to live on Earth to sink
Deep, depressed in six foot hole
Wrong for there are chapters to be told
This heart of mine appears too weak
To some who read and Him not seek
But wrong again for kindness His
Is in my heart some may just miss
I hold no key to heart all yours
Yet my GOD does each day He tours
A heart of glass that needs repair
A heart like yours that beats despaired
I too chased rainbows only to find
That He gave sight to me once blind
To eyes of heart and soul I bare
He drew blueprint with Heavens care
Now I chase and though breathless
I feel His love for me priceless
In heart now made of finest Gold
This heart of mine, His hand now holds
