rain (landscapes rough draft)
It's supposed to be in the fifties today
and
sunny!
darn,
I was hoping for rain.
I appreciate the gloom
unlike others
the drizzle of wet morsels
the sight of people running from
here to there
helplessly
even though it doesn't make a difference
whether they run
or walk
technically
you get sprinkled whichever way
I appreciate the trees dancing
to the harmony being created by
the wind, and thunder
it doesn't make me cheerless and bitter
to watch the water stream down my window
Instead, I think, “yes!, I don't have to shovel you - Rain!”
and
sunny!
darn,
I was hoping for rain.
I appreciate the gloom
unlike others
the drizzle of wet morsels
the sight of people running from
here to there
helplessly
even though it doesn't make a difference
whether they run
or walk
technically
you get sprinkled whichever way
I appreciate the trees dancing
to the harmony being created by
the wind, and thunder
it doesn't make me cheerless and bitter
to watch the water stream down my window
Instead, I think, “yes!, I don't have to shovel you - Rain!”
