Too good to be true
Maybe, I think, you were mistreated.
Take a deep breath, please be seated.
I am something you're not use to.
You say I'm too good to be true.
I'm so into you,
Thought we should start life anew.
I would be true to you.
Would you be true if we do?
Let's set the rumors right.
Candles flicker, burning all night.
Quiet,in silence, we all sit.
Uncle Sam's heart stopped, it quit!
In a blink of an eye,
Twenty years gone by.
Haunted by memories of what should have been.
Loving you, my only sin.
