I am thankful to God for everything
For all the breaks and all that sings.
I am thankful for the sun every morn
And for the beauty of each sunset born.
I am thankful to God for the love I feel
And for providing me with family and for what's real.
I am thankful for everyday we're together and live
And for teaching me in His Holy Word to forgive.
I am thankful for all the loved ones by my side
And for His Holy Book that is in life my only guide.
I am thankful to God for the present future and past
And for all His Divine Love that for eternity will last.
I'm thankful to God for every loving heart and each caring
To anyone standing by me with a kind smile and anything;
As I make it thru this life the best I can all through everything,
I am thankful to God for his salvation and all his blessings.
