GAMES WE PLAYED

DO YOU REMEMBER THE GAMES WE USED TO PLAY,
WHEN THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO
ON A LONG HOT SUMMERS DAY?

HIDE AND SEEK WAS ALWAYS FUN,
WITH HOP SCOTCH, ALONG WITH
RUN MY SHEEPY RUN.

JUMP ROPE AND I SPY,
SINGING SONGS AND CLIMBING TREES,
ALMOST ANYTHING WE COULD TRY.

WE HAD NO T.V. , JUST RADIO THEN.
WE MADE OUR OWN FUN
DO YOU ALSO REMEMBER WHEN?
