 "her path to integrity"

"sonnet46"

and in trembled paleness, she gently knelt
amidst the silent moon's caress that dwelt,
her whispered love words to an ear that turned
the gem jewelledness who in a night yearned
to transform from caged bird to wing-ed flight.
a wing so wide in breadth, it would ignite
before him in flames she would quick to flare,
two hands that part even in holy prayer
might press to lips in humble bidding do
yet all along the master timely knew.
so in this profession her lips so spilled
`twas like eager sunlight through darkness filled;
she hoped in knowing, he would cage her here
open her secrets and paint her skin sheer.
