Resurrection Sunday is soon approaching again
As a reminder of Christ Jesus our Saviour and risen King
Each year the celebration for the easter bunny returns
When will mankind turn from this pagan worship to learn
The "Easter" celebration of eggs and bunnies is pagan's way
Another scheme of the devil to mimic Christ on this day
It was no easter bunny that went to the cross
No egg hunts or chocolate bunnies will save the lost
Several years ago before I was in the ministry
Getting ready for church the Holy Spirit spoke to me
I didn't have time before church was to start
But I was to look up the origin of easter He layed on my heart
It all had begun just days leading up to...
Easter aka "Resurrection Sunday" known by so few
The saddest thing this day,there was a bunny
in my church too as well as an egg hunt!
When in the bible these festivals are all of Baalim!
It was the Holy Spirit that urged me to seek
Days before I knew that bunny was vexing me!
I tell you the truth righteous anger had arose
It was by the Holy Spirit this revelation has been known
If YOU choose have your easter bunnies,and egg hunts too
I tell you the truth the Holy Spirit today speaks to you
Through this message I beseech you to take heed
The truth will be given as you seek too and read
Easter is the worship of a sun god brought by Ashtoroth
As all other festivals the passover is highjacked to exclude Jesus
Christians are to celebrate Christ and His resurrection
This easter bunny,egg hunting is to God an abomination!
In Hosea 4:6 ...my people perish for lack of knowledge
It is only by the Holy Spirit mysteries are given not in college
That ye shall know the truth and it will make you free
For a time such as this the truth of easter is for all to see
The bible plainly states don't be conformed to this world
Yet many continue although this truth they've heard
Growing up as well as raising my children I did not know
Until the Holy Spirit led me to seek proof of Truth to show
This was toward the beginning of my walk with God
Many other truths He's shown me for the enemy I must trod
My journey with the Holy Spirit daily ceases to amaze me
Yet I know it is my calling to set the captives free
