FIFTY-FOUR NOW AND HOW

One year from a senior citizen
Southgate Realty chooses to
Kick me out of the house I live in

I am going on my nineteenth year
While they are only in it for money
I live here sick with the fear

People will not hear
Even if the law
Is very clear

Stated it to them four times now
And they don't give a damn
While I try to go on somehow

Life is full of mean folk
She has a bad reputation
Must think others are a joke

Heard she treats others just as bad
I guess they think they are above the law
All of it just makes me sick and sad

Pushed and pushed and pushed some more
Until my kids moved out
Because they are tired of the score

Of people with the money winning
Their rules riddened with green blood
Bad karma for their sinning

It will come around
I will blog about them
The world will hear the sound

Of my crying out for relief
My words can move the mountains
When you leave me full of grief

Old but not yet dead
Smart enough to take you on
Their is a brain inside this head

No one cared for years about my place
Until they want to sell it
Now it is all the trouble I face

Take it to trial if I have too
I won't die without a fight
Injustice from both of you

I do not lack the word
There is law there to back me up
That you refuse to be heard

Well I can be strong and sick
In bed with a cold all week
While you lay it on thick

Pushing me out too fast
Will not listen to me
Anyway I will last.
