I am Noah waiting for the floods to subside
Calling on God to be my guide
I am Noah and the floods are my grief
I am Noah putting all my faith into just one belief
That you will come back for me some day
Making my skies a little less grey
I am Noah waiting for the return of the white dove
Along with all your love
I am Noah waiting for the clouds to open up and the sun to shine
Waiting on the feeling of knowing that you're mine
I am Noah and the ark is my heart
Trying to keep it together while we are apart
I am Noah, God loves me and is on my side
But my faith has not stopped all the nights I've cried
I am Noah and these floods I have to bear are strong
But nothing can compare to your journey, for it is long
I am Noah seeing the rainbow radiate it beauty in the newly cleared sky
Blaming the floods on the apple of my eye
