 Last Chance
Sailing back to Puerto Rico;
A sea day, north by northwest.
The sun is bright and hot;
I'm lying in a deck chair at rest.
The compulsion to eat everything
Was avoided; victory at sea.
My soul has been unshackled;
My spirit has been set free.
The Caribbean sings her song;
It is the song of romance.
Debarking tomorrow, then heading home;
Absorbing this moment, our last chance.
Sherrie's birthday is on this day;
Celebrating with a relaxed passion.
Becoming more beautiful with age;
Looking spectacular, always in fashion.
It is always a party, new friend's found;
Cruising resonates with our souls.
The game of life is put on hold;
Laying down our responsibilities and roles.
There is a hint of sadness in our joy today;
Tonight we will dance our last dance.
The cruise will end early in the morning;
But we embrace today… It's our last chance.
