It was after 3am I just wanted to go to sleep
Yet these words kept echoeing in my spirit so deep
"Who's Your Daddy?"getting out of bed I got my pen
Another poem inspired as a gift given from Daddy again
My Daddy's Creator of all heavens and earth
When I cry out Abba Father He knows when I'm hurt
He even knew my purpose in life before my birth
I'm the daughter of The King over all the universe
He has bottled every one of my fallen tears
He surely must have a collection over the years
You see it was in my thrities when my parents passed away
So as an orphan He truly became my Daddy in everyway
Then in my fifties He just loves showering me with gifts
That's when He gave me my heart adopted parents to talk with
Soon my Papa Ish would go home leaving behind memories
I still have my Mama Dori for the Lord gave her a ministry
I call her my Lil' Cajun Mama and her poetry is divine
As it stands today she's my favorite poetess of all time
Her writings are inspired from above just like mine
In fact it was through poetry each other's heart we'd find
Yet I know it was my daddy that made that also happen
Cause He loves to shower me with gifts from heaven
Just like the mansion He has prepared and waiting
Eyes have not seen nor ears heard what He has for those that love Him
There's nothing He'll withhold from any of His children
When we speak His word and bring Him into remembrance
For He continually watches over His word to perform it
If we don't know what to pray for utterance comes from the holy spirit
There's nothing in this world that I will ever lack
For you see my Daddy will always have my back
I am one of His chosen that He calls by name
My love for Him is unconditional and I know He feels the same
You know it seems like the enemy would someday get a clue
For whatever the enemy meant for bad God turns around for good
And so as the attacks came to discredit His chosen ones
It becomes part of His collection of inspired poetry and songs

I opened it to 1 Cor.2 and was shown right there in all of chapter 2
