We live in a time and place
Of much chaos and great concern
Reviled by the world's changing face
Levied by man and by man spurned
Do we ever seek for lessons learned?
Obviously--There's more to know
Far past man's pillage which shows.
Would this be our perception
Of a world gone bad, on decline
Engulfing us in such deception
So failing to see it's design?
Again we need to refocus
Not blinded by man's hocus-pokus
Disecerning the world--not the bogus!
We look around us at the world our home
Observe it close and survey it afar,
Note the details that it has shown
Detect an amoeba or a brilliant star
Either close up or far away--
Revived we are by such display
Such splendors that were and still are!
