Of All The Words
They use to be what raised the dead
In me, in heart, inside my head
That gave me strength that once was mine
That held my soul drawn in chalk line
The better part, my better half
Tattooed in color on my right calf
Is one that brought her smile and laugh
To heart dried up on love it passed
Mistakes I've made throughout my reign
Upon an Earth so full of pain
But not when time was hers and mine
Her loss is now how we spend time
In thoughts that paint the sunny days
Of hand once held that parted ways
Beyond the door just shy of me
Beyond, further than I can see
Of all the words that come to mind
Is name we call that sometimes winds
A dead man walking, where candlelight
Becomes the moment we last held tight
Remember you, the best GOD given
In words that now are all but filling
The emptiness that weighs chilling
Typed to bring back to life it's killing
Wish we could write one more thing
My words fall short to say just something
You have not heard or read before
Before you left and closed loves door
Of All The Words...
