Dark was this night that fell upon garden
While others did slumber, His heart had to harden
Facing His trial before other trials
There before Father, He'd pray for awhile
Tested once again, the enemy viewed
Before Him Gods son on knees GOD infused
His will upon son to take upon Him
His passion for man, bitter pill for all sin
The serpent would slither close to the son
Whose passion would bleed to overcome
All He had come for, all he would save
For them and for all, mankind till this day
Imagine I can't how His heart would now break
Getting more than a scourging taking mans sinful fate
Upon His back, upon the cross
Upon that day, intervention His cost
Many will say it's too good to be true
But that's how it was all done for you
Who seeks not the savior, feeling this but a story
A myth or some fable made up to be glory
Wish I could change if just with this write
Your thoughts, empty soul, name His you spite
For time will soon come but many will not
