One night.
Lost in the dream,
I watched my own skin
Where green lichen
Wove in & out of my skin
From my hands,
Left & right
Vines & plants
Shot out
Of my palms…
Then light neon green
Thin worms
Crawled and bored
Through my dermis,
And it simply was.
I was both,
In my skin
& observing it.
Another night.
Jellied, cartoon like figures
Morphed and moved about
As if in water,
But were not.
Then super heroes
Where being affected
By these jewels
Red, but at the center
The green of kryptonite
And my favorite
Heroine,
Wonder Woman,
The green light shone
In her eyes,
And I screamed out
For her to stop,
To let it go,
But she couldn't hear me,
And it over took her.
And I woke up.
Still another night.
I was working
On a tv show
Following a small
Family, two women
With two children
Who were black.
We had cameras
Behind the mirror
Which morphed
Into a TV
And somehow
A stuffed tiger
Became real
And chased the
Kids, and I wrestled
With it and chased
It into another dimension
I was in a mall
Then following
The tiger who was
Now an evil sorcerer.
He was animating
Things in the mall
To stop me,
Promising them
Money to spend
When they were
Obviously things
That could do
No such thing,
Like the fish skeletons
In the mall
Pond…
He animated more
And more…
As I chased him
And then the
Metal dish with
A head had me
My the legs,
And I bent it…
Hurt it,
Even though
I knew it was not
Its fault…
And did it anyway.
Then I woke up.
