 American Happiness
Americans belittle those who have less
In far away lands
Thought of as third world countries
But though
They have less
They have more
Of what we seek.
Happiness.
Simplicity.

There is a decided
LACK of self-loathing.

And let we think
So little of them,
Putting them down
So we can uplift
Ourselves.

Unknowingly
They idolize the freedom
We have to hate
Ourselves as much
As we do.

But hey!
We make more garbage
From the stuff we buy
So we must be more
Happy,
Right?
