Today You Too
Today you too just may go through
An episode where more than few
Feel a loss, gut wrenched feeling
Empty of love, torment soul stealing
Maybe not you but someone else
Will cry today as life does melt
Before their eyes barren of help
Alone now keeps whats left of self
Distraught not caught in time to save
You may just walk past one enslaved
By pain not seen but real inside
A friend in need, in you confide
This war that tears the heart of every man
This world that seems just lives to damn
Yet in it all there is just one
Who hears the cries of everyone
Fear becomes the friend to all
Who fails to see and fails to call
Upon the One whose in control
Upon the rock we fail to hold
The days grow short and one day soon
All this will be what will be doomed
In heart and soul, in life where death
Not born of light will too regret
Today you too can come and aid
A soul distressed to know and save
If you just looked inside of you
The one GOD made and calls out to
Be of good cheer and know the cure
Is yours to have where love His pure
Will help resolve whats gone astray
Dear child of GOD, great ransom paid
