Lovingly Forgiving
While we are still weak,
At a time when Christ died;
As the ungodly seek,
About what others have cried.
Why someone who would die,
For another is rare;
And one would just deny,
Of the times that they share.
Maybe someone is brave,
To die for someone good;
But for a sinful slave,
Hard to think that one could.
But each one of us sins,
Of the glory falls short;
When the end time begins,
Should be judged in the court.
But it was through the Son,
Our link is restored;
And what Jesus had done,
For us in one accord.
Even with such a loss,
We have a passageway
Being bridged with the cross,
To get over the bay.
