Peace Be With You
Since time began our race does war
Countless the dead somehow the score
Seems not enough to learn His ways
Has fast become whats not engaged
We fight for rights and then abuse them
Exclude the best and Him condemn
Our tongues swagger against all sacred
Lucky for us patience His takes it
Ours back though turned witness we do
The son of GOD on cross nailed to
As if it did not mean a thing
Creating wars of suffering
Lash out not love on thy neighbors
Reject the one born to be savior
Of all the worst of things to come
We'll wish we were part of Gods Kingdom
Yes dear friend that keeps away
The son of man who for you prayed
Before your birth He was and is
The antidote to life's grand quiz
Who was this man that spoke His heart
That walked to death to you impart
Wisdom His found in His book
That gathers dust, no second look
He was and is and will return
To gather flock, for those who learned
That peace Is He that is with you
Today though war some chose in lieu
