 Silent Cry's
Pain echoes throughout the night in my body;
Disturbing any hope for a restful sleep tonight.
Waiting for the sun to chase away the darkness;
Looking out the windows for the sun to rise bright.
Living alone, no one knows the troubles in my life;
No one to share the misery, no one to lighten my load.
The unrest in my soul haunts me throughout the day;
Who will hear my silent cry's where once peace had flowed?
Suddenly, from the stillness, I hear the gathering of Angels;
Surrounding me with their peace, ministering with love.
I see the light so brilliant, blinding me to all else around;
There is a ladder extending to the light coming from above.
Moved by the love of God, I am drawn into that vision;
Rescued from the sickness and loneliness by my Lord.
I have fought the good fight over these many years;
He heard my silent cry's and ushered me to my reward.
27Mch10
Written after the funeral for my step mom;
As she entered the gates of heaven.
