Eyes That Long To See
His gift of sight has been impaired
Years where eyes have seen and bared
Life tragic where pain has left
Unseen by all in heart his swept
He writes of people, His disowned
By country theirs they once did own
He writes of love in heart condone
His writes define what is alone
Pages of poems that drove confessions
Now call out to divine intervention
On his behalf though saint he's not
Raven, dear friend here loved alot
His gifts of write have poured upon
Many asking, where has he gone?
Question unanswered as poems too
Have dissapeared we once paged through
He's asked for prayer and restoration
Of sight fleeing as reservations
Become what seems all on his mind
Fearful the thought of going blind
Preserve I do what writes were read
Inside my heart, inside my head
As he now seeks and hopes they find
How to repair whats aged with time
His eyes, Gods gift will need blessings
Prayers, then some, all hearts confessing
To GOD that gave mankind this gift
To GOD my friend, his name I lift
Dear GOD I ask and pray today
Restore Lee's sight that fades away
As thoughts of him are written here
With hope they wipe away his fears
Today I ask with this one write
For all poets to pray for sight
For Lee we know will need Gods might
To heal, restore and pen new writes
Dedicated to my friend Lee " RAVEN "
