Rich and Poor
The rich men will get back their taxes,
The poor will get no doctors care,
The poor will die, the rich get richer
Does that sound just a bit unfair?
The poor whose children get no covrage
What awful crime did they commit?
The rich, who get their blesséd money,
What did they do to merit it?
The poor men but one crime committed
That made them seem to Bush as rats:
They have a way of casting ballots
And voting for the Democrats.
And this one crime, this fact so damming,
Denied them any sympathy;
The fact that some are born impoverished,
Is that a choice? a choice thats free?
The rich men did one thing to merit
A favourable sentiment
They had the valor, honor, courage
To play golf with the President.
They bought their golf clubs with the money
That could have gone to children's health
George W. thought they were needy
Killed children to increase their wealth.
