 Easter Sunday
Forsythia blooming yellow everywhere;
Daffodil's growing here and there.
Fragrant odors lifted on the breeze;
Flowers bloom, buds open in the trees.
Easter Sunday brings hope of new life;
Freedom from sin, freedom from our strife.
Spring and the resurrection go hand in hand;
As life springs forth at God's command.
The winter's barren gloom has now passed;
Creation celebrates, death will not last.
Bees buzz, birds chirp, butterflies dance;
Young hearts are more open to romance.
Embrace this season for all it is worth;
Become a new creation, rise up in new birth.
For Jesus is alive, He still is to this very day;
Easter Sunday promises life beyond this clay.
