Poetic Verses
Children
Put some children together irrespective of gender or ethnicity
They will bond , relate and integrate so readily
There will be that look of joy and such friendship on display
Depicted by their actions, unity and in the way they play
To those watching on it would be such a wonderful sight
Seeing ones so young doing something so right
Not seeing each other by skin tone, race or having any difference
Just enjoying each other's company and that is of great significance
How can they in their little minds?
See past those pettiness to which adults are so incline
To not let it prejudice their thinking but only to inculcate
Within themselves, that spirit to love humanity cultivate.
But alas they depend on someone else for direction
Who most implicitly will sow that seed of differentiation
Thus initiating that path which could pass through that generation
So this problem will find no immediate solution.
Oh if some adults let themselves just for a moment be transposed
And let that childlike feeling on themselves be imposed
This I am sure will induce that area of introspection
Which hopefully should take their thinking into a much wider dimension.
