unaborted life/ remaining afloat

              2/2/05

traveling through these tunnels
has warped my vision;
no longer wide and peripheral;
now my sight is minimal;
lost for nine months, wondering
and contemplating escape;
on the inside looking out;
it's cloudy and gray,
roll over as I lay, awaiting
my earthday;
day of the beast;
october sixteenth;
bread from the depths of the streets;
journeying through the struggle
for an unaborted life;

edible days consumed by acid rain;
unable to avoid the sun's showers;
like due in the morning, it's always there,
waiting to dampen unmapped plans;
so I duck, dodge, and wade in the water
to knock the scent of my trail of the m.o.b;
(mostly. over. bullsh#$)
however most folks have missed the boat
and me....
....well I'm struggling trying to remain
afloat!
