The other day she lost a simple fairy tale
her family is broken
she is now deluded by deceit
She is bluffed by agony and
spoofed by suffering
uncertain of what once existed
and uncertain of what is to exist
Beyond her smile,
I see her gardens are now weeds
and her soft tears that are now a bloody rage
She is letting go of hope
And, bitterly holding onto love
She has been mislead by illusions
and confound by affliction
The other day she lost a simple fairy tale
her family is broken
but her worth isn't based on circumstances
