Matthew-8-17
That it might be fulfilled
which was spoken by
Esaias the prophet saying,
Himself took our infirmities
and bare our sicknesses

Easter is the third day
the day Jesus arose from the grave.
God so loved the world
He gave his only son.
Jesus loved us so much
for us his life he gave.
~~~~
God his father looked away
as they nailed his son to the tree.
Jesus suffered so much hanging there
Father forgive them he said that day.
He did not ask his father
for his life to spare
~~~~
Jesus had to suffered even more
for two days in the grave he lay.
For our sins he took it all
but on the third day.
as it is written in the bible by those of old
Jesus came forth from the grave.
