 Lost For Words
You know that feel when all was said
That still returns to you misled
Of many things but mostly love
Still comes around to tear more of

Like a child cornered we sit
In empty room where do we fit
A broken heart of many pieces
Puzzle unfinished seems life now ceases

No need for heartbeat or to breathe
No reason to just believe
That things will change yet here we are
Wishing again upon some star

Barely light is drawn from it
Appears it too has called it quits
Tired of wishes all but it's own
Upon it wished and too alone

Yet we feel a pulse that gives
Some hope to where a soul once lived
A chance to feel what once was felt
To live whats left if nothing else

Lost for words maybe someone
Can spell one more before the Sun
Tires today as I do too
Of her once here, our sad adieu
