 Bouquet of Wildflowers
Simple, beautiful, vividly alive;
Another spring they do revive.
Enhanced by cool rain showers;
Picking a bouquet of wildflowers.
God touches each bloom with love;
Reaching down from heaven above.
The fragrances floating in the air;
Bringing out an emotion so rare.
Suddenly, I'm struck by Cupid's arrow;
In my head I hear Ravel's Bolero.
This unpredicted passion springing;
As love overflows my heart singing.
I was taken by surprise, blindsided;
Cupid's arrow must be misguided.
Slowly sensual, this love empowers;
Brought on by a bouquet of wildflowers.
