Cursed Men
Cursed is the man who puts his trust,
In another man because of lust;
That corrupts a person inside,
And no room for Christ to abide.
The human mind is such a thing,
Only deceitfulness will cling;
Causing a man to cheat and lie,
Even though to be a nice guy.
He makes his flesh and blood his strength,
To persevere at any length;
And he has completely ignored,
Turns his heart away from the Lord.
He will live in the wilderness,
With having hate and bitterness;
Staying where no one else could live,
Not willing to ever forgive.
Blessed is the man that will abide,
Just like a tree by the lake side;
Nourished by the faith and the trust,
You put into God who is just.
His confidence is in the Lord,
Who he worships and is adored;
Continuously bears much fruit,
Because his faith grew a deep root.
