So tired of this road
I faithfully walk alone
The empty days and nights
where sun and moon has never shone
No reason to stay
No destination in sight
Oh to just spread my wings
for heavenly flight
This heart years to soar
so many times oh so very near
but the end result
is always but a single tear
I sit here tonight
lonely tears mixed with wine
Wondering
will it ever be my time
My path in life
is only known to Him
for me to question
