Distant Shore
On the horizon I can see the lights
Sparkling like the stars in the night sky
Dreaming of what it would be like to
Be walking on that distant shore
Sailing past, wondering what I'm missing
The romantic sunsets, the swaying palms
Returning to my home, I can only imagine
What life is like on that distant shore
I'm drawn by the mystery of the unknown
Wanting to experience that ideal beach
Feeling the warm waters of the bay, ahh…
As I fantasize about that distant shore
The pirate within me seeks the adventure
Lusting after the golden sun, the white sands
Wanting to be engulfed by the island's love
I jump ship and swim to that distant shore
