once upon a time

HI/

How are you feeling Liz?
Is it just another night?
Are you drifting with old, new friends?
If I listen hard enough I might
Hear you all laughing, shouting.

If I don't see you again
I'll know you are always young,
Cruising along on a never-ending night.
I know you're flowing effortlessly through time

I miss you. What can I say? You had to go.
Nights are long here here, listening to you
Sitting by my shoulder "unseen".
Guess I shouldn't go there, but I miss you.

When my heart is misbehaving and loving you,
Having to stay here, hoping once again we'll meet.
Then we'll go cruising with old, new friends
On another glorious never-ending night
