Poetic Verses
Young and Old
It has been said and will bring out a smile
You are only once a man but twice a child
As time brings on that reality by proximity
There is that realization of the veracity
As one ascends life steep incline
At the summit you peak and then there is the decline
One day you are a vibrant and smiling pediatric
In later years you are considered a geriatric
It is often a factor at these two extremities
Often open both parties to many vulnerabilities
One thing is common in to both of them
That they both have a suspect immune system
At the primary entrance you are helpless and most time smiling
In the later year your need help but this time is crying
Because in years prior you had you were independent
Now there is no choice but to get an assistant
Once you could spring up readily from a fall
Now you do not want to hit the ground at all
Then you realize over and over again
That it is hard to get over a certain type of pain
Then in the photo album you take a look
At those pictures over the years you took
Then you will see that aged toothless smile
Depicted in old age as it was as a child
Also some body function would lose that efficiency
As you would not be able to control them that effectively
You will see that some problem in little children
Until they have learned to ably control them
That process as a child you crept before you walk
Also use the effect of phonetics before you talk
Father time will equate those steps like if you are creeping
Whilst mother nature would produce some difficulty when speaking
A little baby have wrinkles in a few places
As you age they appear in all types of spaces
And those muscles now have lost that tone
So that lifting any load you would emit a groan
So look at life as a cycle some revolving wheel
There is that centrifugal or centripetal force to feel
So no matter what motion you are under
The life's cycle in never over.
