There was a lady meek in manner
She was startled by a dream
A shadow made it's way towards her
It stood amid a bright sunbeam
On her knees she fell before it
She was startled by a dream
Scared was she that it was satan
She was scared and had to scream
Quite upset she told her Pastor
She was startled by a dream
They agreed she'd ask a question
Things aren't always what they seem
"Ask it," said the wise old Pastor
"To tell you of my previous sins
You will know to whom you speak
If it reveals the truth therein"
Again that night the dream continued
She knew the Lord as He then spoke
"I don't remember, I have forgotten"
She was smiling as she awoke
