Judge not , less ye be judged

               8/23/05

Judge not, less ye be judged:
      from the start trust was lost;
      knew the past, would always listen fast,
      thought it was the emotion of love
      that poured out the truth,
      trying to loosen the knot of the noose,
      gave the key to hidden secrets,
      believed the tongue would keep it,
      behind the truth lurks deceiving;
      knew ways from back in the days,
      when cheating consumed the flow of veins;

Judge not, less ye be judged:
      over the years only eyes to view dried tears,
      visioned the pain of regrets and death,
      gained the trust to hear a son's disgust;
      abused friendships on the account of
      songs of mischief;
      warned by sight beyond sight, however
      the light's shine illuminated too bright
      to harness with 20/19 vision;
      witnessed words heard in verse,
      but choose to listen to a born again sinner

Judge not, less ye be judged:
      from innocence to guilt;
      from good to spoiled milk;
      judgment and torment of a righteous character
      can change a person's perspective from
      pure thoughts to aggravated assault;
      quickly feelings and emotions morph,
      guess it's just that age old thing;

      thin is the line between love and hate!
