Trusting God
Oh how I love His Laws,
To meditate all day;
Answering when He calls,
I ensure to obey.
For all that God has taught,
Always stays on my mind;
Because what His Son bought,
The dearest thing to find.
His commandments are wise,
More than all of my foes;
The pleasure in His eyes,
Ensures the blessing flows.
Because I am not enslaved,
To the forces of sin;
Since His Laws are engraved,
On my heart deep within,
More insight in my thought,
Staying on His pathway;
Because what I have sought,
Not to wander or stray.
Only God I will trust,
And will follow His Word;
For His is fair and just,
So clear and never blurred.
