DADDY DRIVES A TANK

Daddy macho he drives a tank
Mommy drives a Suburban.
Me I drive them both nuts
I write Divorce poetry all day
Momma she drinks gin an tonic
Daddy drinks straight bourbon
They say get off the computer
Go outside forget poems and play
I am putting on pretty pictures
Woman with wolves and Sunsets
Doesn't do much for my poetry
But it passes the time away
I am trying to be chosen Choice of the day
Poetry soul prints has to be Spanish dancing
Choice of the day image enhancing
Me I'm writing about Daddies Secretary romancing
Momma read my poem and they are fighting
He's going with a girlfriend overnighting
If my divorce poetry doesn't work
Mom now thinks he is such a jerk
I'll cry and moan and write about lost loves
Oh--oh, there they go again taking off the gloves
