 My time had come
I saw the candelabra
 Flickering through the glass
Burning away so brightly
I wondered if it would last

Like my life before me
 Beating away each day
The flames burned much faster
 As suddenly they burned away

The room fell in darkness
No shadows on the wall
With the night all around me
I heard those angels call

They beckoned me to follow
In denial i screamed no!
Why should i be weak
Too weak now to let go

The force over powered me
As their wings soon took hold
Was this supposed to happen
I thought they took the old

Traveling through the darkness
My time on earth was done
Sailing past the milky way
I felt the heat of the burning sun

There my life before me
Had crumbled into glass
My life was all now over
In my hand was heavens pass.
