Poem in ParadoxPut your child to his bed, hang his coat on a hook, Read a bedtime story from the little monster book, Tuck him in, kiss his forehead and switch off the light, Pleasant dreams to journey with him through the night, Dark envelops his sanctum, leaving shadows to roam, Quietly invading his bedroom, making itself at home, That coat on the hook now forms a shape of its own, A young mind runs wild, his fear has now grown, A hideous monster, its sinister intentions are now clear, Drifts mysteriously over him, filling his young heart with fear, Abandoned by his parents to face a monster in his room, He shuts his young eyes to free impending doom, As he shouts for his dad, to come rushing through, He defiantly tells the monster "My dad's bigger than you", The monster caused my fear says he, it's evil and bad, No, "Its fear that caused the monster"," says his wise dad.
